After dental implant surgery
Following implant surgery the dentist will review some specific instructions with you for proper healing. Everything in this verbal review is also written on an instruction sheet to take home.
The dentists will commonly prescribe an antibiotic to take for 5-7 days from the day of surgery. Make sure to inform the dentist about any medications you take or any adverse reactions to antibiotics in the past.
