Bonding, or composite, is a tooth colored filling. This is an esthetic solution to correct tooth decay, cracks in teeth, gaps between teeth, stains, and discolorations.
A composite resin is applied, molded and sculpted over the teeth. It attaches using an adhesive liquid. After the resin has been applied an ultraviolet light is used to harden the resin. It can then be polished to achieve your esthetic smile.

A Tucson native, Dr. Purdy holds an undergraduate degree from the University of Arizona and completed his DMD at Midwestern University College of Dental Medicine, with a focus on dental implants and occlusion. He was honored for his work in dental dynamics and served honorably for a decade as a Lieutenant in the U.S. Navy before returning home to Tucson.
Beyond dentistry, Dr. Purdy cherishes moments with his wife, Sarah, strumming his guitar, exploring Tucson’s scenic hikes, and relaxing with video games.
