Nitrous Oxide
Nitrous Oxide is commonly referred to as “laughing gas,” (although it doesn’t make one laugh but helps them to relax.) It is inhaled through a small mask placed over the nose. You will be awake and aware but more relaxed for your procedure. It is very safe to use and easily cleared from the system with some oxygen administered at the end of the appointment. It does not impair your ability to operate a vehicle.
